The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry
To a mouse — Robert Burns

That should read always. Let me tell you why this is so important to my problem solving mindset.

You see implied within the word awry is bad, but by definition its scope is broader "not in the intended way:"

While most unintended consequences are indeed bad, sometimes you luck out and things are a hit in ways you never imagined. I once was told to make a website harder to use because the customer was getting too many qualified leads. Users often find novel ways to use a product that you never envisages. So it's not all bad, but one thing for sure your plan is never spot on. Sometimes a little awry sometimes a-lot-a-wray?
